My name is Blair Sandburg and I live in Cascade, Washington, otherwise known as the most dangerous city in America and trust me I would know.
I am a TA at Rainer University and currently I am working on my doctoral thesis on Sentinels. Now you may wonder how a seemingly harmless academic topic such as that has gotten me kidnapped, shot at, chased, mugged, jumped out of an airplane, trapped in a elevator with a bomb, and other misc. life threatening activities. All I can say is... we are definitely no longer on the kiddy rides. I should probably mention that I'm scared of heights...See the note on jumping out of an airplane. So now you're probably wondering what could possibly be worth all this.
My partner and research subject is one James Ellison, cop of the year and terminal bad ass. He has 5 heightened senses, a tendency to zone out and a fondness for junk food all of which needs constant watching. That's where I come in. As his partner/companion/guide it's my job to keep the man alive at least long enough to finish my dissertation. After that I'll just have to figure out another way to ingrain myself into his life. After all, he seriously needs me. Oh, and did I mention his tendency to drop his gun at the most inappropriate times? I don't do guns so he's on his own for that one. Oh, and did I also mention he has the body of a Greek god?... minus the receding hairline, but hey, nobody is perfect.
